Brentford defender Pontus Jansson insists there's no problems with Leeds United manager Marcelo Bielsa after winning Premier League promotion.

Bees captain Jansson signed for Thomas Frank's outfit after being told he was no longer wanted by Bielsa's Leeds, but the 30-year-old also insisted his relationship with the innovative Argentine was still strong despite his acrimonious exit.

And when asked whether the promotion justified his transfer from Leeds to West London, the Swede responded positively.

Jansson said, "That's probably what makes me proudest. I saw something in Brentford.

"I'm so thankful to (Marcelo) Bielsa and what he gave me at Leeds, he gave me so much knowledge that I actually brought in here to Brentford.

"Brentford were so willing to listen to me, with my ideas that I took from Bielsa, so I thank him a lot!

"Bielsa for me is one of the best coaches in the world. People think my and his relationship is not the best but it is, he's very good. I'm so thankful to him and of course I love Brentford so much, but also thanks to Bielsa and Leeds."
