Former Tottenham midfielder Darren Anderton says the club should let Harry Kane leave if he wants.
The forward has informed Spurs of his desire to depart north London at the end of the season after failing to win a trophy with his boyhood club.
Anderton told talkSPORT 2: "'We're at that point at the moment where you've got to give him credit.
"He's never caused any trouble, he's always given 110 per cent, he's different class on every single level.
"If he does make that decision you have to respect him for it and wish him well."
