Chelsea boss Thomas Tuchel hopes his side will not show more naïveté in their battle for a top four spot in the Premier League.

The Blues are currently in fourth position, but have to get positive results in their remaining two games to ensure they are in next season's Champions League.

With FA Cup and Champions League finals coming in the next few weeks, Tuchel will not want his side to lose focus on the league.

Chelsea were defeated 1-0 by Arsenal at home on Wednesday, leaving them just seven points ahead of Liverpool who have two games in hand.

"We all lacked concentration and focus today, which is very unusual," Tuchel told reporters post-game, per the club website.

"Maybe I also gave some signals to the team with the changes that Saturday [FA Cup final] is on my mind, and even if it's only one per cent, this is not how we approach things because you get punished.

"We cannot be naive in this race for top four so now we suffer from another defeat. It's hard to swallow but there's no other way."
