Ajax coach Erik ten Hag admits he wants to sign FC Nordsjaellands winger Kamaldeen Sulemana.
But he accepts they face stiff competition from the likes of Manchester United for the 19 year-old.
"Of course we know a lot about him," said Ten Hag.
"It depends on the market what we can do and whether we can get him ahead of the others. But it is obvious that he is a very good player.
"We hope they will see Ajax as a springboard."
