Kieran Trippier has renewed his contract with Atletico Madrid.
While the former Tottenham fullback has been linked with a summer return to the Premier League this summer, it's emerged Trippier has triggered a new deal, says AS
The England fullback was due a new 12 month extension should he reach 20 games this season - which he has comfortably passed, having now played 27.
Trippier's deal has now been extended from 2022 to the end of the 2022/23 season.
And both Atletico management and Trippier are happy with the arrangement.
