Roma are being pushed by new coach Jose Mourinho to rumble Barcelona plans for Gini Wijnaldum.
Off contract in June, the Liverpool midfielder's agent and lawyer were in Barcelona yesterday for talks over a Bosman transfer.
However, Gazzetta dello Sport says Mourinho wants to bring Wijnaldum to Rome and is urging Giallorosso directors to make contact.
Mourinho is eager to add a ball-winning midfielder with good experience to his squad this summer.
Along with Wijnaldum, Manchester United veteran Nemanja Matic is also on his radar.
