Tottenham plan to open compo talks with PSG for coach Mauricio Pochettino as early as MONDAY.
Pochettino had a largely successful spell in North London from 2014 to 2019 but was sacked in November with the side 14th in the Premier League, after mediocre form following the limp 2-0 Champions League final loss against Liverpool in May.
The Paris Saint-Germain manager has been heavily linked with a move back to Spurs and the club want to begin official negotiations on Monday, says The Sun.
Pochettino, 49, was appointed at PSG in January in his first role since leaving Tottenham, and has had mixed success in the French capital.
He led PSG to French Super Cup and French Cup victories, but they missed out on the Ligue 1 title for just the second time in the last nine years, and were knocked out of the Champions League by Manchester City after a 4-1 aggregate semi-final loss.
The Argentine is said to be disappointed with how the French side is run and has clashed with sporting director Leonardo, meaning he could be open to a return to English football.
