Ajax are being urged to step away from the battle with Manchester United for FC Nordsjaelland attacker Kamaldeen Sulemana.
The 19 year-old Ghana international is a confirmed target for both clubs ahead of the summer market.
Dutch pundit Mike Verweij can't see Ajax outbidding United for Sulemana and says they should step away and look elsewhere.
He told the De Telegraaf podcast: “Manchester United has not yet made an offer, I understand.
“If Ajax is fast and is willing to pay what Nordsjaelland wants, they can buy him. I think they are now looking for alternatives. They definitely want Sulemana. But if that gets difficult, they will have to go forward.
"The question is what he should cost. A year ago that was six to seven million, but that will be more now."
