Chelsea defender Andreas Christensen is full of pride being a Champions League winner.

The Dane entered the Porto pitch as a replacement for Thiago Silva and helped Chelsea to victory over Manchester City.

Christensen told 3+: "It is huge, and it is difficult to understand right now.

"Thomas Tuchel had said that if I do not start the match, then I will end the match, so I was really ready to get on the field. Then I was told when I went on the pitch that it was like Tottenham in the league. Come in and then we score and that was exactly what happened.

"We knew very well that they would come out quickly and try to get an early goal.

"We went into the match with a lot of confidence because we had beaten them twice, but I do not really think we played as well as in the other matches where we tried to take the ball because we know they are good on the ball, but suffer a little when they do not have the ball. We didn't really succeed in the second half, but it was okay."
