Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp insists Takumi Minamino has a future at Anfield.
The Japan international is currently on-loan at Southampton, but has struggled for regular first team action.
However, Klopp maintains: "It was a very tough decision to let him leave last winter.
"Because he was an important player with us, but it was a good opportunity and Southampton is perfect for him.
"But he has been an important player with us and he will be in the future as well, I'm sure."
