Kota Kinabalu: A 40-year-old was killed when a Toyota Hilux crashed into his motorcycle near the Manggatal Health Clinic junction along Jalan Tuaran, Saturday.
Gelbrt Gomili succumbed to severe head injuries at the scene.
City Police Chief ACP Mohd Zaidi Abdullah said initial investigations showed the accident happened at about 8.20pm. Killing the motorcyclist.
The Toyota Hilux driven by a 52-year-old was believed to be heading towards Kolombong from the Tuaran direction when it ploughed into the motorcycle which made a sudden exit from a junction.
The car driver escaped unscathed.
