Juve won a hard-fought final 2-1, delivering coach Andrea Pirlo his second piece of silverware as coach after the Supercoppa won earlier this season.
It was a relief for Juve's players after a tough campaign, though their top four chances still remain alive. Victory on Wednesday night was also a special moment for Gigi Buffon, who won alongside Fede Chiesa, having done the same with Parma over 20 years ago alongside Fede's father Enrico Chiesa.
