Incoming Roma coach Jose Mourinho is targeting a raid on Liverpool this summer.
Gazzetta dello Sport says Mourinho is eager to shake up Roma's midfield for next season and is encouraging a move for Reds ace Gini Wijnaldum.
Off contract in June, Wijnaldum is expected to leave Liverpool this summer and has been offered to Bayern Munich and Barcelona.
Mourinho is also keen and Roma have made initial contact with the player's camp.
For the moment, Wijnaldum is demanding a three-year contract worth €4m-a-season, which is out of range of Roma's current transfer budget.
