Chelsea are considering a move to re-sign Romelu Lukaku from Inter Milan.
Sky Sports says the Blues have received a boost in their reported interest in re-signing Romelu Lukaku.
The immediate departure of Antonio Conte from Inter Milan could allow Chelsea the opportunity to sign the Belgian international.
The former Blues manager was told he will have to cut the club's transfer budget after winning the Serie A title for the first time in a decade, prompting the Italian to terminate his contract.
Lukaku took to social media to say thanks to his former boss for the work he has done to help him.
"In 2014 we spoke for the first time, and we have had a bond ever since," he said.
"You came at the right time and changed me as a player and made me even stronger mentally and more importantly, we won together."
