AC Milan fullback Diogo Dalot admits they weren't good enough for their 0-0 draw with Cagliari.

The result leaves Milan's top four hopes hanging by a thread.

“We played a bad game," Dalot told MilanTV. “Now, we must put our head down and push towards a decisive match for the Champions League.

“We have a week to look at what we were lacking today. We needed to be calm and mature. Now, we can only work to win the final game on Sunday."

Milan now face a final game against Atalanta.

“You need an almost perfect match, it's impossible to play a perfect game," he said. “It's a Champions League match, we must keep our heads down and work."
