Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola would not be drawn on speculation linking the club with a move for Harry Kane.
The Tottenham centre-forward has reportedly told the club he wants to leave in the summer.
Spurs failed to win the Carabao Cup and are unlikely to finish in a Europa League spot this term.
Kane, who has not won a trophy with Spurs, wants to move to a club where he can win silverware.
Asked by reporters about Kane after City's loss to Brighton on Tuesday in the Premier League, Guardiola responded curtly, stating: "Next question please.
"He's a Tottenham Hotspur player."
