Manchester City will not be involved in the race to sign Sergio Ramos on a free transfer.
Ramos has said goodbye to Real Madrid after 16 years at the Spanish giants.
City had been linked with the 35-year-old centre-back.
But the Manchester Evening Newssays the club have other priorities in the transfer market.
Manchester United and Chelsea have also been linked with Ramos as they look to solidify their defensive units.
