Derby County are confident re-signing Manchester United defender Teden Mengi.
Derby will seek a new loan deal with United for Mengi.
The Manchester Evening News says Derby want to sign the stopper again and it seems likely they will clinch a deal.
Mengi impressed Rams boss Wayne Rooney last season after joining in January in a temporary deal and helping the club beat relegation from the Championship.
