Everton are moving forward with plans to sign Wolves captain Conor Coady.

The centre-back, 28, is currently with England at Euro 2020.

It has been revealed both of Everton prospective manager, Nuno Espirito Santo, had asked the club to sign Coady.

Now it is believed Rafa Benitez will take the manager vacancy over Nuno, but according to Football Insider, that hasn't stopped the club's plans for Coady.

Wolves could be forced into a sale as they need money to fund other purchases.

Coady is from Merseyside and came through the ranks at Liverpool.
