Brighton midfielder Leandro Trossard is delighted hearing Danny Welbeck has signed a new contract.
Trossard is currently away with Belgium at the Euros.
He told the club's website: “Danny was great to work with last year and he has already given a lot in a Brighton shirt.
"I am happy that he's staying – he can score goals as he proved and helped us to win games.
"It's a good thing for us that he signed a new contract."
