Manchester United have a deal in place for released Aston Villa goalkeeper Tom Heaton.
United are closing in on the signing of Heaton as a free agent.
But Football Insider reports the deal will only be announced on 1 July.
They cite a United source who claims while the deal was wrapped up last month Heaton will not undergo his medical until later in June.
Heaton came through the youth system at United before departing to establish his senior career.
