Spain captain Sergi Busquets was proud of his teammates after their stunning 5-3 victory over Croatia.
Spain are into the quarterfinals of Euro 2020 following the eight goal thriller.
Man-of-the-match Busquest said afterwards: “The team is growing a lot into this tournament and in extra-time you saw our character.
“Croatia did a good job but for how the game went and extra-time was, it well deserved that we reached the quarter-finals."
The Barcelona midfielder went off in the 102nd minute for Rodri.
“I am well, it was a very physical game and in the end I had some problems but I have days to recover before the quarter final."
On the error made by Unai Simon for Croatia's first goal, Busquets said: “He has our confidence and knows how important he is for us, he has a great mentality and calmness, he's very ambitious and has shown that after."
