Sergi Barjuan is finalising contract terms with Barcelona about taking charge of the B team.
Former Barca left-back Sergi will replace Javi Garcia Pimienta, who was sacked as B coach last week. He will sign a three-year contract to 2024.
Sergi began his coaching career with the Barça youth squad in charge of Juvenil B. He later made the leap to senior football at Recreativo de Huelva (2012-14). He then went through Almería and Mallorca, before making the move to China, where he stayed from 2017 to 2019 with ZJ Greentown.
He has been living in Seville with his wife in recent years and is now set to return to Barcelona to take up the B team role.
