Brentford are not planning a significant overhaul of their squad ahead of their first Premier League campaign.
The west London side are in the top flight of English football for the first time in 74 years.
They won the Championship play-offs with a 2-0 success over Swansea at Wembley on Saturday.
According to the Evening Standard, despite a cash injection of £178 million from promotion, Brentford believe they have the basis of a very good squad.
"In many ways the squad is strong enough," said manager Thomas Frank.
"Like all clubs, there will be some transfer activity. We will have meetings about it and plan it, have a clear strategy, be aligned, and maybe there will be a few added. But it will not be much, definitely not. We think we have a strong squad that can compete in the Premier League."
Asked whether star striker Ivan Toney can succeed in the top flight, Frank added: "I have no doubt he will perform and do well in the Premier League.
"Like a lot of players in the team, he has got all the qualities to play there. I am looking forward to his development and the development of the whole team."
