Arsenal have handed trials to Peru defender Aron Sanchez.
Jeorge Bird's Arsenal youth website reports Sanchez is a Peru U20 international who plays for AD Cantolao in his country's top division. He was previously at Esther Grande before signing for Cantolao in 2018.
If he was to join Arsenal, Sanchez would be too old to feature for the U18s, so would go into the U23 squad.
Arsenal have a host of centre-backs in their U23 squad, although some of them, such as Daniel Ballard and Harry Clarke, could be loaned out again.
Telemundo's Diego Montalvan has reported Arsenal have yet to make a formal bid for the 18-year-old.
