Manchester City star Kevin De Bruyne does NOT need surgery on his nose and eye socket.
The Belgian midfielder sustained injuries in the Champions League final after a collision with Chelsea defender Antonio Rudiger, who was wearing a protective face mask for the game.
De Bruyne had to come off in the 60th minute during City's 1-0 defeat and went to hospital for checks.
Belgian coach Roberto Martinez confirmed in a press conference from their training camp that De Bruyne was set to link up with the squad in a few days.
He may play in the European Championships with a protective face mask as well.
