Manchester City chairman Khaldoon Al Mubarak insists financial fair play laws won't be an issue this summer market.

Khaldoon admits they have big plans for the transfer window.

And he insists FFP won't be a problem: “We are where we are, which is at the top of the competition, and we will continue to be in the top of the competition," he said.

“Our ability to compete in that top tier is clear, and we will be both competitive and aggressive."

“We are subject to rules and regulations in whatever jurisdiction we are part of, but I think today as a club, as a group, we are in such a different place.

"This club is very well-managed and financially strong, and from that perspective, when you talk about financial fair play, it's about rules and regulations which we will meet.

"But in terms of our ability to move, we are in the position I have always wanted us to get to, which is a position of strength."
