Liverpool face stiff competition this summer for Borussia Monchengladbach midfielder Florian Neuhas.
The German youngster is being watched by the Reds as a potential replacement for new PSG signing Gini Wijnaldum. Contact has been made with Neuhaus' management team, while Liverpool have also registered their interest with Gladbach.
However, they're not alone with Manchester City, Juventus and Bayern Munich also in contact with Gladbach.
For their part, Gladbach accept they face losing Neuhaus, who has been likened to Real Madrid icon Toni Kroos, this summer.
And the Bundesliga outfit will seek to sell at a starting price of €40m.
