The Brazilian joined City from Shakhtar Donetsk in the summer of 2013, racking up more than 230 appearances and lifting in 11 trophies - including this past season's Premier League title and Carabao Cup.
Fernandinho is currently City captain, though his contract will run down at the end of this month as he and management consider their next move.
