Manchester United captain Harry Maguire does not mind being a vocal leader for England.

Maguire is on international duty with his Three Lions teammates at Euro 2020, but is not fully fit as a result of an ankle injury he suffered late in the club season.

The centre-back is likely to be fit as England take on Scotland in their second group stage game on Friday.

Maguire is happy fans are back in stadiums, as that means his loud conversations with teammates are not heard clearly.

"I'm happy fans are back in the stadium so you can't hear a lot of my arguments with the players," said Maguire, per the Daily Express.

"My brother will text me after games: 'you had an argument with Rashford that game, you had an argument with someone else' but these are demands I probably put on myself and I put on other players as well.

"I demand a lot from players. It's probably something I've developed over my career with experience.

"Me talking hopefully tells others but also keeps me focused and concentrated.

"That's one big part of the England team - we've got a lot of loud players.

"I think that is a real benefit of this squad compared to a few years ago when there weren't as many vocal players in there."
