Southampton are very eager to sign Brest left back Romain Perraud this summer.
The Daily Mail is reporting that Saints boss Ralph Hasenhuttl has made Perraud his number one target for the left back spot.
The club believes they can secure the 23-year-old's signature for around £9 million.
Perraud, a French youth international, is also being linked to Newcastle United and Leeds United.
Southampton are very keen to secure a left sided defender given the departure of Ryan Bertrand after the expiry of his contract.
