Crystal Palace have been holding positive talks with Lucien Favre.
News broke last week that Palace were engaging with the former Borussia Dortmund manager.
The Guardian says talks have gone well between the two parties.
Favre has out of work since being sacked by Dortmund in December.
Palace scrapped negotiations with former Wolves boss Nuno Espirito Santo earlier this month.
