Everton are being linked with Tottenham defender Matt Doherty.
Football Insider says Nuno has told Everton he can lure Doherty from Tottenham if he lands the manager's job.
A recruitment source says Nuno would be keen to re-sign former Wolves man Doherty straight away and slot him into his favoured defensive set-up at Everton.
Everton are in the market for a new right-back this summer to provide cover and competition for veteran skipper Seamus Coleman who turns 33 in October.
Doherty is already rivalling him in for a place in the Republic of Ireland team.
