Napoli hero Marek Hamsik has urged Fabian Ruiz to stay where he is.
The Spain midfielder is being linked with a return to LaLiga.
But Hamsik says: “It was a great choice for him to join Napoli because he's had a chance to play the Champions League as a protagonist.
"He has improved so much and he could play for any other club, but I hope he stays in Naples to achieve great things."
Hamsik, 33, was also asked about a return.
“I don't think it's going to happen, there hasn't been an opportunity. Napoli rightly look to the future. I decided to join Trabzonspor before the Euros so I could only focus on the competition."
