Released Tottenham fullback Danny Rose is in advanced talks to sign for Watford.
The Athletic reports Rose has agreed a deal in principle to join the Hornets.
The 30-year-old left-back is a free agent after his contract expired with his north London stay coming to end in highly unsatisfactory circumstances.
He was frozen out of the first-team picture by Jose Mourinho and hadn't played for the club since a 1-0 defeat to on January 11, 2020.
Rose spent the second half of that season on loan at Newcastle United but wasn't involved at all during the 2020-21 campaign.
