Antonio Rudiger has told Thomas Tuchel he is committed to Chelsea despite the club having not opened contract talks with the German defender.
Rudiger has just one year remaining on his current contract.
He came close to leaving Stamford Bridge in January before Tuchel's arrival revitalised his Chelsea career.
The 28-year-old can sign a pre contract agreement with a foreign club from January 1.
However, Sky Sports says Rudiger is only thinking about staying with Chelsea.
Should an offer not arrive from the Blues, the Germany centre-back is happy to see out the final 12 months of his contract before leaving for free in the summer of 2022.
