Roma are willing to make a swap bid for Arsenal midfielder Granit Xhaka.
Il Romanista reports Roma will propose a swap deal to Arsenal as the Italian club look to wrap up a deal for Xhaka.
It's said Arsenal are currently demanding between €23m (£19m) and €25m (£21m) for the Swiss midfielder, while Roma director Tiago Pinto is unprepared to pay more than €15m (£12m).
But a compromise could be achieved by Roma sending 23-year-old midfielder Amadou Diawara in the opposite direction as part of the deal.
Diawara is reportedly a 'welcome name' at the Emirates Stadium and could help to make this deal a reality.
