Kota Kinabalu: State Police Commissioner Datuk Hazani Ghazali has warned people in Sabah not to gather in public in response to a call by a group of hackers for a protest Wednesday against what that say is a failed federal government in tackling the pandemic.
"We have our own plans on how to deal with this issue and if anyone comes out tomorrow (Wednesday), action will be taken according to the SOP and existing laws," said Hazani (pictured).
It is learned that a 2-minute-40-second video uploaded by the anonymous group named as "Anonymous Malaysia" was shared on social media platforms on Monday telling Malaysians about the launch of their protest known as "Black Democracy".
The video also asked everyone to comply with the SOPs and not to assemble but to just sit in their car or on their motorbike and sound the horn and take a protest selfie before uploading it on social media.
