Manchester United are set to announce the signing of Aston Villa goalkeeper Tom Heaton.
Italian transfer expert Fabrizio Romano Heaton's return to Old Trafford is imminent. The Aston Villa goalkeeper has completed his medical ahead of a free transfer this summer.
The 35-year-old goalkeeper left United in 2010 after failing to make a first-team appearance following five years in their acclaimed academy.
The Italian journalist says Heaton will sign a two-year contract with his former club.
Heaton's deal with Villa expires at the end of this month.
