Tottenham sporting director Fabio Paratici are making a move for Sassuolo midfielder Manuel Locatelli.
The former Juventus chief is wasting no time as he looks to get his feet under the table at his new club by signing one of the stars of the European Championships so far.
Sassuolo CEO Carnevali, who has a close relationship with Paratici, has already confirmed Locatelli can leave this summer at the right price.
Italian journalist Marcello Chirico is reporting that Paratici is ready to bid for the midfielder.
He claims that Paratici has contacted Carnevali to discuss bringing Locatelli to Tottenham.
The 23-year-old scored twice for Italy on Wednesday night as they beat Switzerland 3-0 in Rome.
