SHAH ALAM, June 15 — Electronic components manufacturing company Texas Instruments Malaysia Sdn Bhd in Ampang will be the first factory in Selangor to receive the Covid-19 vaccine for its workers.
National Covid-19 Immunisation Programme Coordinating Minister Khairy Jamaluddin said the initiative tomorrow is part of Phase 4 of the national vaccination plan.
“It is very important as there are workplaces that have become a cluster of infection and because of that we have to focus on the fourth phase,” he said at the Selangor State Secretariat Building here today.
Khairy said this after chairing the state’s Covid-19 Immunisation Programme Task Force meeting with Selangor Menteri Besar Dato’ Seri Amirudin Shari.
