Juventus must find a taker for Cristiano Ronaldo if they're to land Manchester United midfielder Paul Pogba this summer.

New manager Massimiliano Allegri knows he needs to rebuild the midfield to restore Juventus to title winners in Italy.

And France midfielder Pogba, who spent four successful seasons at Juventus between 2012 and 2016, including two under Allegri's management, is in their thoughts, reports Calciomercato.com.

But the Turin club would have to offload Ronaldo in order to finance Pogba's return.

Pogba, 28, has only one year left on his United contract and hasn't shown too many indications that he will extend it.

Despite this, his asking price would still be around the £90million mark and that is beyond Juventus in the present economic climate.

A potential swap that would see Ronaldo return to Old Trafford as leverage in the deal is 'no longer a fantasy'.
