West Ham United co-owners David Gold and David Sullivan are delighted with David Moyes' new deal.
Moyes penned a new three-year contract on Saturday.
In a joint statement, Gold and Sullivan stated: "On behalf of the Board and everyone here at West Ham United, we would first like to congratulate David Moyes, his coaching and backroom staff and all of the players on a fantastic 2020/21 Premier League season, culminating in a sixth-place finish and qualification for the UEFA Europa League.
"It has been a truly inspiring and memorable campaign, providing so many wonderful moments for our supporters during these unprecedented and difficult times.
"That joy has been somewhat tempered by the fact that fans haven't been able to cheer on the team in person for the vast majority of the season, but the sight of 10,000 Hammers in full voice at London Stadium on the final day was a fantastic moment and a fitting way to end the season in style.
"Of course, the perfect moment we are all waiting for is the day 60,000 supporters can fill the stadium once again – hopefully from the start of the 2021/22 season. That will be the day we know football truly is back – and we are all so proud that you will return to see an exciting, hungry and ambitious team, led by a manager who we are continuing to work closely with to build something special.
"When we made the decision to appoint David as manager for the second time in December 2019, we did so because we felt he had shown in his previous spell in charge that he understood West Ham United and built strong relationships here, and we firmly believed that he would be the right man to guide the Club forward.
"What has happened since then has been excellent. David has proved that there is simply no substitute for hard work, endeavour and dedication to the job, alongside his vast experience and know-how. His work ethic is to be admired and has proved the perfect fit for West Ham United, helping to build a special spirit around the Club.
"It is a true pleasure to work with him. He is a man of real integrity, honesty and with an experience of Premier League football that is unmatched in the game today. We have enjoyed a fantastic relationship with David and his coaching staff and we look forward to continuing that going forward."
