Former AS Roma midfielder Herbert Prohaska is sorry seeing Antonio Conte having left Inter Milan.

He feels Conte had the team primed for a Champions League challenge after last season's Scudetto success.

He told Sportmediaset: "I'm also a bit sad about Conte's farewell and the disposals they have to make. I thought that if he had bought three players he could have won the Champions League.

“Inter was a team used to winning, but in Rome it was historic: they had been waiting for the Scudetto for 41 years.

"Jose Mourinho? He is a suitable coach for Serie A, given the football that his teams play."
