Chelsea striker Olivier Giroud insists he and Real Madrid ace Karim Benzema are fine.
Before his France recall, Benzema had described himself as a "F1" while he declared Giroud a "go kart".
The Chelsea striker insists he never let the jibe get to him, stating: "There is no reason to beat it up with Karim.
"The statements he had about me made me smile and laugh more than anything else.
"I took it with a lot of hindsight back then and even more so today. You are not giving up on this. We will both go and celebrate on a karting circuit, it will make a great photo..."
