Arsenal youngster Bukayo Saka hopes that he impressed England boss Gareth Southgate against Austria on Wednesday.
The 19-year-old winger started in the Euro 2020 warmup friendly at Middlesbrough, scoring the winning goal in a 1-0 success.
He was not the only youngster in the team, with 17-year-old Jude Bellingham starring in central midfield.
Asked if either of them had earned a start at Euro 2020 with their performances, Saka said: "That's what we try to do with every opportunity we get to show the manager that we can play.
"I hope me and Jude did that tonight."
Saka will have another chance to impress Southgate when England play Romania on Sunday, ahead of their opening Euro2020 clash against Croatia on June 13.
