Former Manchester City and Holland midfielder Nigel de Jong has sung the praises of Gini Wijnaldum.
The departing Liverpool midfielder will join PSG when he comes off contract at the end of the month.
De Jong said, "He is always on the go and looking for the ball to dim down in that area. That's what makes him so special. Talk about an underrated player, I think Gini is up there with the most underrated players in terms of his work ethic and also in terms of quality.
"When they miss Van Dijk, he is the next man to step up and is the captain as he is, he leads by example. Three goals in the group stage in a big tournament is something you can be proud of."
