Chelsea have matched PSG's offer for Inter Milan right-back Achraf Hakimi.
The Parisians submitted a bid of £56.1m to secure the former Real Madrid man.
Sky in Italy claim Chelsea have told Inter they will pay the same amount.
But in a huge plus for the Blues, Inter could favour speaking with them due to their interest in Emerson Palmieri and Andreas Christensen.
Inter are said to value Hakimi at £68.8m, but an inclusion of either Palmieri or Christensen could soften their stance.
A physical specimen at right-back, Hakimi scored seven goals and registered 10 assists in Serie A as Inter claimed their first title in 10 years.
