RB Leipzig goalkeeper Yvon Mvogo is backing Ibrahima Konate for success with Liverpool.
Liverpool signed the France U21 defender last month.
And Mvogo, who spent last season on-loan with PSV, told the Mirror: "Ibra Konaté is just a fantastic defender. He had some injuries this year so he could not show his full potential. He is one of the best young defenders I have seen in my career and I wish him all the best in Liverpool.
"I am sure that he will succeed there and show everyone what a fantastic player he is. I know he has all the attributes needed to do well in the Premier League. He has all the strengths a defender needs."
