Primarily a central defender, Tuanzebe is behind Harry Maguire, Eric Bailly and Victor Lindelof in the pecking order at Old Trafford while he can also be deployed at right-back.
The United youth graduate wants more guarantees over first-team football and with United set to invest in the position this summer - his opportunities appear limited.
Tuanzebe has made 37 appearances for the club and has previously played over 35 games during a loan spell with Aston Villa.
